My fiance and I just got a '00 Mercury Mountaineer with AWD and the 5.0. I'm just looking for others with this vehicle to get some more information on them.
I have owned all wheel drive 4*4s but not the car in question. What does this beast of yours look like? Were you after general info on all wheel drive of specific info to your make and model?
I'm just looking for mods to the Mountaineer, the reliability of the AWD, and the amount of power I can throw at the AWD sytem before I have to worry about it breaking.
My beast? Here are some pictures. I plan to have 600 at the rearwheels with a little more tweaking... :D
wow what a great car. I should have guess with a tag like holeshot you would be into some serious stuff. You 4x4 questions are too model specific for me. Never had any problems with the all wheel drive system but I never tried to get that much power out of anything!
