Please help anyone? I have 1994 ford expl., XLT 4x4. 4 litre. The battery light is staying on and slowly discharging. I have already replaced the alternator with a new rebuilt one. The selonoid is good. Tried 3 different fully charged good batteries yet the battery light is staying on. Any ideas what can be going on? Please help as I am disabled and use this vehicle daily.

You may have a "Dead Ground", or a short somewhere, causing the battery nor to recharge.
Look for a broken, or loose wire.
