ghanrahan Registered User Join Date: May 2003 Location: christchurch new zealand Posts: 5	bearing noise Hi everyone I have an Explorer in our workshop, with engine bearing noise sounds worse at constant revs, sounds different than the dreaded timing chain noise. It is a 1998 model with 4.0 L OHC V6 motor done 140000ks, has anyone struck worn out bearings on this model before? thanks.
