so im looking into buying a 95 explorer with 89k miles on the clocks, the body and inter look in great shape. i have not person seen this vehical but i plan to within a few days, are there any key thing i should definatly look for or listen to. would their be any major tune issues i should be aware of comming up on 100k? so far all i know is that they claim its a daily driver and they they put a a/c delete pulley on and it squeaks. how would i verify it?

Alot of people had problems with the transmission in this year & model. The most common complaint has been the overdrive light flashing. Other complaints are; won't go into gear, clunking noise when slowing to stop & jerks when shifting from low to high. Overdirve light is an easy fix- pop the steering cover column off and check for a bare wire coming down from the shifter handle. It rubs until it shorts out agianst the steering column. Easy fix without parts if caught soon enough- just tape it!
