slyjackson Registered User Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 9	change the AT fluid ? I was told not to change the automatic transmission fluid in a 1999 Explorer with 85k mi. as it has never been serviced before and replacing the fluid will cause the transmission to go if I replace the fluid now? Ever hear of this or should I go ahead and do a fluid & filter replacement?
