cway" truck won't start "

what's up you all explorer drivers, maybe someone can help me. i own a 95 explorer xlt, recently i been having some type of bad shake to the truck, i thought that it could be my thermostat, but the problems seems too be worst, someone told me that it might be a head gasket problem, i told him that in the mornings when i start her up the truck shoots out white smoke from the muffler. from time to time i hear some grinding noises coming from under the hood. i thought that my pulley were going bad, so this morning i tried too start the truck and it didn't start, it just died. can someone please help me, all information will be appreciated. thanks

When you start it up give it gas. If it stays running let off the gas and see if it dies. If it dies try replacing the Idol Air Control Valve. As for the white smoke?? Hard to say. Is it leaking fluids of any king? Is it burning oil? Does your oil look like it should, meaning does it look like it's mixing with antifreeze?
