cylinder head replacement
Just a quick question about approx cost of a cylinder head replacement.
My 2001 V8 mountaineer had the check engine light on and was running rough. Took it to local mechanic, he cleaned fuel injector. Ran good for day or two then light came back on. Mechanic said that the cylinder head may have to be replaced. (I guess the injector is in there). I bought an extended warranty, but the good part was that if I didn't use it I get the money back.
So if this repair is a couple hundred bucks I'll just pay it. (warranty was over a grand) The garage is very busy so I can't even get the truck back in there for a week, so in the meantime I was looking for the approx cost. Thanks.
