door ajar light

my door ajar light stays on even when all doors are closed. I think it is the door sensor. had this same problem w/my ranger. I spayed wd 40 on the lock and this worked for a little while but not any more. I think I am going to have to replace the driver's side sensor. Any recomendations?

Replace the sensor. It is a fairly cheap and easy procedure to do.
