i have a ford explorer 2000 how do you drain gas without dropping gastank?

If the pump still runs, you can disconnect the fuel filter and run a hose to a can.

i found a perfect way. disconnect line from fuel filter pull fuel pump fuse from fuse block under hood and put jimper wire in upper left plug in and the other end of wire to positive battery terminal
