Kinda of a cold morning out. Went to start my 92 Explorer. turned the key to the on postion and all is well. Turn it to tuirn the engine over and I heard a click and ALL power is gone... no interior light or radio clock. The door locks didn't even work. It was like someone took the battery out of the car! I checked the battery connections and they were good. It returned to normal a couple minutes later. I have yet to recreate the problem.
Does your battery rated enough CCA's to turn the engine over in cold weather for what the manufacturer recommends. I dont know what else it might be unless its a computer problem.
Did the power ever come back on? Maybe you blew one of the main fuses if it didnt.

I have spoken with the guys in my companies shop. They have see brand new big truck batteries do that. They recommended changing the battery. Because its intermitent, there is really now way of telling if it was the problem. It doesn't happen that often.
BTW fiveliter302... I got a PGT as well! Good taste!
