Wow answered your own post. I just got up so sorry for not replying sooner.

And you did answer your own question. But Yes it does take a special tool and in some cases you will need a little brute force to help it along. You should be able to get the tool at any parts stor they are not that expensive and usually come with a half a dozen pieces for varying sized connectors.
