I have a 98 explorer. I got my letter in the mail a few days ago about the seat bolt. Good looking out! Thanks

Re: factory recall issued

must not be all 2002 models. I just went to myford.com which tells me for my 2002 XLT vehcile's VIN (registered since purchase): "Currently, there are no listed recalls for your vehicle."

Re: factory recall issued

Dude, that happened to me!!!

What do I do? Take it to the Recall Center of IDIOTS for making a defective bolt?

Seriously, how do you make a bolt wrong?

I have the 2004 Explorer and had the problem with the solenoid and fluid. My first problem I noticed was putting the car in reverse and a huge clunk noise as it went into gear. Sometimes it would make this noise and pause breifly before going into gear. Had the fluid replaced and later had the solenoid replaced and hasn't happened since.
