Fog Lamps

Ok here is my question. My wife wants foglamps. We have an XLS without them. Is it possible to install after market lights? Ya I know prob a silly questions but I'm not a very good mechanic. Thanks.

Re: Fog Lamps

Mount a single-pole relay under the hood, run a fused battery lead to one side of the contacts - then from the other contact terminal to the lights. Tap the ignition power under the dash, run it to a single-pole switch, then through the firewall to one of the coil terminals on the relay... the other coil terminal goes to ground. Don't use the crappy wiring kit that comes with the 2-light sets

Mount the lights wherever you feel is convenient.... lower is better for fog lights. You may need to fab some sort of bracket, depending on where you decide to put them.
