Re: Gear Shift 2002 Explorer
Well, unfortunately, Ford has never been paying for any defective parts they have made. I have a ton of problems right after the guarantee went deadline!
Parts alone costed me around 2,500 after the third years, and I had twice the vehicle was in a dealer shop for fixing the hum caused by the oxygen sensors and the minor transmission problem. I always worked on this vehicle over the weekend. My neighbor shook his head and wonder why!
Then I finally trade it in with a new Accord that I think it's the best for my budget. The Explode I got was expensive compares with the Honda now. Parts are expensive too. I wish Ford dealers should pay an attention and recommend a better car to their first buyer customers. The worst thing about Ford is not just the vehicle itself. It's its customer service relation dept.
I promise I will have never purchase a Ford a gain in a lifetime. But it's a quite experience when I was in an Explorer or an Exploder.
Ford parts are junk
