Gremlins in 2002 Explorer

I have a 2002 Explorer that is doing some really crazy stuff. The 'door ajar' light goes on and off repeatedly with the bell dinging as well. The inside light goes on and off and the rear and sometimes all of the locks go off and on. It does it randomly and extremely often. I try to turn up the radio to drown it out but doesn't work.
I've checked and all doors and the tailgate and rear window are all closed properly. Any ideas on where to start looking, short of checking every wire in the dang thing, would be extremely helpful. I'm about ready to run it off a cliff, but sadly there are none in southern Mississippi.

Re: Gremlins in 2002 Explorer

I had the exact same issue with an 02 explorer.

Turned out it was the latch on the rear tailgate window. forgot it i replaced it or just adjusted it to stop this from happening.
Also mine would happen only on rough roads or going over bumps..
