BigManRob Registered User Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 2	help with installation of cd player in '96 explorer I bought a wiring kit for my cd player, and have it powered up, but no sound. Now and then, some noise will come out, but only for a few seconds at best. What could be wrong?

BigManRob Registered User Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 2	Re: help with installation of cd player in '96 explorer nevermind, I got it working... it turns out that there was a single blue wire, with a black stripe that had to be connected to the 2 red ones, since my truck has a pre-amp in it.
