The LF power window on my 94 Explorer has struck in the down position. I thought it would be easy to pull the motor/ regulstor...but I've run into a problem and need some help.

I pulled the interior trim panel, and removed all the nuts that I thought were holding the power window unit. I still can't get the motor out. It looks like it is held in with 3 or 4 rivets. Do I need to drill them out?

Also, how big a deal is it to pull the regulator? Since the window is down, I can't see how to disconnect the glass from the lift assembly.

Any help will be appreciated.

hi auburn , are you sure it is the power window motor that is buggerd , have you checked to see if it is something simple like the switch, mayby you could check to see it there is a fuse connected to the red main power wire that could have triped out. i was just thinkn it might be something simple before you go rippn out the motor.
