Re: Hidden Codes

Yep

Everything is sweet now, thanks

Some of the codes actually have been replaced in the 2003 models with menu driven commands, Ie the door locking.

BSR - It stand for Bull Sh!t Racing, something us guys come up with a couple of years back at a Nudie bar to impress the chicks...hehehehe

hi guys ,you might want to know that in the manual it states that the vehichle has a black box system whichrecored some data ie: if you have disabled the seat belt warning light etc which could give you grief if ever you were to sue ford for whatever reasons ( unlikely ) but hey they do recored some info on your driving habits its in the manual 2003 model

Re: Hidden Codes

Hi,

I have an explorer 2003 model and I have followed the steps to turn off the seatbelt reminder, It goes through to completion and gives me the confirmation of enabling and disabling (flashing sequence), but it still does not work IE when I turn on the ignition and do not have the seatbelt on, it still beeps at me.

Help I am going nuts everytime I get in the car !
