The wife has an 04 explorer that keeps throwing idiot lights. The first one came after the alternator crapped out. Now the batt light comes on every 15 minutes or so letting me know to "check charging system." It's been about 3 weeks since I changed the alt and batt, I think the charging system is working as the car continues to start when told to do so. Also, the check engine light comes on sporatically, which is usually an O2 sensor. No biggie, but code scanners won't link to the vehicles computer to tell me exactly where the prob is or let me erase dtc's. Anybody able to offer any words of advice. I'm used to my knuckledragging, cave wall art painting 96 Powerstroke, not these damn intelligent cars.
