Issue w/ my 04 Explorer?

Was driving home from the store last night, stopped at a red light, went to hit the gas when the light turned green and nothing. Looked down, vehicle had turned off. Thought it stalled, put it in neutral and nothing. Dash lights would come on but nothing else, no click from the engine/starter nothing. The "Limp Home" mode light was also illuminated on the dash(open ended wrench light) Is this a battery issue or something more?

Re: Issue w/ my 04 Explorer?

Just got a call from the auto shop, they said it could be an issue with the key or security system, is this possible?

Final update, apparently there were two fuses blown due to the shop that did some tranny work a few months back rerouted the O2 sensor wires causing one to chaf through.
