mechanicwanabe Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 1	Load Humming noise from AC I have a 99 Ford Explorer, for a few years-it has made this load hum noise. I think that it may be from the AC. The noise is present even after the AC is off. But, it is still giving cool air. I have been told that maybe it is the Idle air control valve-Can anyone comment? I have priced the part at Ford and its running about $170.00 But, before I did the job-I wanted to talk with someone. Thanks for your help.
