Mass Airflow Sensor/Meter Replacement - Ford Forums

After checking O2 sensor, results showed that the MAF (mass flow sensor) was suspect.

Question: Are there are any places online that can show me (for free) how/where to replace the MAF?

FYI for those with similiar problems:

I was able to fix this problem very quickly (easier than changing oil). The MAF (Mas Air Flow) Sensor is located (standing in front of your engine at the open hood) on the front left side of the engine compartment and on top. There are just two screws holding the MAF in place. There should be instructions included w/ your replacement MAF (I purchase mine at Advanced Auto Parts ~$120).

Its rare that mafs stop working. I would just clean it very thruroly (sp). Buy some MAF cleaner at a parts store and follow directions.
