k729 Registered User Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 1	mountaineer beeping My 98 mountaineer started beeping while I was driving. It beeps in regular intervals, about every minute. The sound seems to be coming from the drivers side in the back, which is where the gas tank is. It beeps while driving, stopped, and it even continues for a while after it is turned off. The beeping starts up again the second it is turned on. Any ideas? A friend thought it might be something to do with the fuel line, but I'm wondering if it could be the alarm system since it continues when it is off. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
