Sg89 Registered User Join Date: Feb 2013 Posts: 1	Mountaineer steering rack I have a 2003 mountaineer, 4.0l awd. Recently the steering rack and pinion went out. Is something that can be replaced in the driveway... Or should I take it to a mechanic? I'm no stranger to working on vehicles, but I've never had to deal with anything steering related.
