My Mounteneer Lock Lights Not Turned Off

hi , i have mounteneer mercury 2004 (jeep) , before yesterday i noticed
when i locked the doors , internal lights & under merror lights not turned off , only after around 30 minutes all lights gets off ,
this caused problem because at night the car seemed as it is unlocked for every body where will encorge the young persons to stolen it
please help

Spray WD40 in all of the door latches, and open and close the doors a few times.

i found the the light switch turned on , i adjust it
it is ok now
