Hey everyone, this is a hard decision for me to make and ask but here it is. I have had my 93 explorer and and really attached to it. The issue is that I've put about 3600 dollars of repairs into it and only paid 600 for the vehicle itself. The power steering gear is going bad and needs to be replaced...what does everyone think I should do...should I trade it in and try to find a vehicle that is just as strong as my explorer or should I fix the steering box? I don't have a large amount of funding but I am really torn as to what to do...any ideas would be great
I'll fix it if it's a Toyota or a Honda. Otherwise, get rid of it or you will end up with thousands of dollars for repair. Take my advise, I had a 2003 for five years. Now, my new car is a Honda Accord.
