Hi All, I am new to FF or any Forum for that matter. I own a 95 Explorer and have some problems with O/D off light flashing. History of truck: Recently rebuilt the transmission due to main seal leak. While I was putting transfer case back in and broke the speed sensor. Drove the truck home that way and speedometer, odometer and trip meter did not work. Also it would not shift into O/D. So I replaced the speed sensor and this seemed to fix it until today. On the way to work I was moving about 65 mph and just cursing (not on the gas) and trans seamed like it wanted to shift from 3rd to 4th with a pulsing feeling. Then the same thing on a slower road (45 mph) pulsing going uphill then O/D light started flashing and trans would not go into 4th. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If I posted in the wrong place, please let me know as I have never been on any forums. Thx, Mark

I've had the same problem with the OD Lights flashing, but, I didn't have any of the other issues that you are having. The lights on mine just simply flashed and a thump right before I stoped. Ford did a computer update on the transmission and haven't had a problem since.
