Have a no heat problem with a friends explorer. All related fuses appear fine, blower is strong, plenty of antifreeze, the thermostat appears to be working fine (engine temp guage normal), and both the inlet and the outlet lines into the firewall get nice and warm.

It almost appears as if the heat/cold fade switch isn't working, but I haven't had a chance to tear that apart yet. Was hoping for some advice. Thanks.

It's probably the blend door motor. Turn the ignition on and listen for the motor to run when you change the temp control from hot to cold. You should be able to hear it with the engine off and no other noises. If you don't, you'll have to check it. Here's a link to a pickup, with information showing a Ranger. It's very similar to yours. Sometimes just unplugging and repluggimg the motor will make it work again. No Heat in Ford F-250

Yes, it was the blend door actuator. All fixed. Thanks.
