Hello, I have a 1997 Ford Explorer XLT with AWD.

I am unable to adjust my temp in side the truck. When the switch is in the A/C position I get cold air coming out of the vent with no adjustment to make it warmer. When the switch is in any other position except for off I get hot air coming out of the vent and there is no way to make it colder. I have tried replacing the temp control switch but it made no difference. Any Ideas? Thanks

Sounds like a blend door..... common problem on '95/96/97/early 98 Explorers.

Do a net-wide search on "Explorer Blend Door" and you'll find several entries on how to diagnose it.
