oil change warning light

my girlfriends mountaineer keeps displaying a "change engine oil soon" warning even though she just got it changed at a jiffy lube, im assuming theres a factory computer that monitors every 3000 miles and warns you?? is there a way to reset this fully so she doesnt have to hit reset every time she gets in teh car? thanks in advance

Re: oil change warning light

The procedure is in the Owner's manual.

What year Explorer? The Info/Reset buttons are how it's done if it's 2002-2005.
I can post procedure when you post year.
