confused Over Drive not working.

I have a 1999 Limited 5.0. I just recenty had the radiator replaced. I have noticed when push the over drive button it the light will not come on and there is no change in shifting as usual. What could be the problem and how can it be fixed?

Re: Over Drive not working.

Check out the shift solenoid. It's in the transmission so you'll have to drop the pan (similar case on the majority of vehicles).

If there are engine codes, be sure to get them read first with a scanner. If you're unsure, drive to an AutoZone and they'll check the vehicle at no charge.
