drew7000 Registered User Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 6	Question on Explorer Subwoofer (2005 Model) I just purchased a 2005 Explorer last night and I absolutely love it. Traded in my 2004 Ford Escape and I really enjoy all the new features (and extra room) that the Explorer has. The vehicle has a subwoofer installed in back and while I definitely enjoy having it. I was thinking of replacing it with something that has a bit more power. My idea is to replace the subwoofer and the factory amplifer. However, there are two things I would like to do. The first is to locate the new amp in the same location as the old one. This will require a VERY small amp. The second is that I want to reuse the wiring from the old amp as I do NOT want to run a power cable to my battery (I think it looks like crap). I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or advice they could share with me?
