Rear Air Option - Separate Evaporator Cores?

Was wondering if the Front/Rear dual air option on 2004 Explorers/Mountaineers utilize dual evaporator cores (Front and Rear)? It sort of looks like it from poking around under the hood.

Reason I ask is that I usually kill the AC compressor a few minutes from home and let fresh air blow across the evaporator core(s) to help remove condensed moisture that can lead to odor and mildew problems if the cores are left sitting wet everynight (or so I've been told). Have only been doing the front A/C system, but it occurred to me that maybe the rear system also needs to be kept dry (if it uses a separate evaporator core)?

Can anyone shed light on the design here? Thanks
