Hi all,

I have a 2003 UX explorer and did my last service a little bit early and they did not have to reset the "Change OIL message", so a week after my service the warning came up.

This is the second time I have done this and it is becoming annoying that I have to go back to the dealer for them to reset the reminder.

Does anyone know what the code is to reset this?

I have been told you try to start it (but not really start it) 3 times, then on the 4th time actually start it and that resets it.

I have tried the starting thing without luck, Last time this happened the mechanic did not try starting it, he just pressed some buttons on the inside and it cleared it. I should have been watching him....

I know if I ring them there going to say bring the car in and not tell me over the phone.
