Help- I have a thumping noise coming from the left rear of my 2002 Explorer. It is in the rear air system and it sounds like it is right where the freon lines run into the fan housing. I can feel the thumping on the outside of car and on the inside panels. By placing a long screwdriver on the housing and pressing my ear to it, it sounds like a small motor that is running very slow. I have unplugged everything back there ( I think anyway). And also it is there only when the ignition is in "run" and it makes no difference if the air is off/on.

Any suggestions?

bad blend door motor or feet/face motor easy to replace approx 60.00 for part from ford.
