Tranmission ?

Has anyone figured out how to add a dipstick to this transmission?

Re: Tranmission ?

Not that I know of....

I think it's downright dumb why they don't have the dipsticks on new transmissions. For Ford to save themselves 30 cents a vehicle so the dealers can make a potential killing when someone gets a transmission problem seems like a bad move for repeat customers. Then Lexus and other makes have deleted their dipsticks as well, mostly because they're monitored electronically. The downside is that when/if the system tells you the fluid is low, it's generally to late and the component is shot - or close to it.
