JS_bethlehem Registered User Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Bethlehem, PA. Age: 66 Posts: 5	What yr was 4.0L SOHC introduced in Expl? I am looking at buying a used Explorer XLT on Ebay. Can someone tell me what model year the SOHC 4.0L engine was introduced on the XLT? I am looking at vehicles between the years 1998 and 2002.

It came with the smooth eyed rounded body version, I think as a part of Job 2. __________________ Current rides: 1994 F-150 XL , 1998 Ford Escort Sport , 2000 ZX2 Sport , 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt!
