kahnos Registered User Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 7	windshield wipers stuck in upright position after this latest snow storm, my windshield wipers on my 98 Expolrer are stuck in the upright position and won't move. help !!!!!!!!!!!

thefonz Always the student Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 1,665	Re: windshield wipers More info would help. Can you hear your wiper motor run, and they just don't move? Has everything thawed out. It could be ice or snow packed under the cowl and have the linkage jamed. Have you checked fuses?

GJSmackdown Registered User Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 71	Re: windshield wipers I had the same issue. It took 2 days for them to thaw out. I just turned the defroster on high and it kept my windshield clean to drive it.
