after doing some looking around i have not been able to find a turbo or supercharger that will fit the 2.3L 4cyl in my 2007 Ranger, when i noticed the Mazda CX-7 commerical, i was wondering since its a turbo 2.3L if i get the turbo, intake manifold, and exhaust manifold from cx-7 if it will mount up in my ranger alright maybe with a bit of fabbing.
This will bring my ranger's power upto a reasonable point so i can get out of my own way on the interstate.
the block is the same, however, the manifolds will be made for a transverse engine and as your ranger's engine is mounted longitudinally, you may have some issues.
Also, the CX7 uses direct injection while your engine does not, which prevent you from using the CX7 PCM.
