I was just wondering if anyone with a 3.0 with few mod's have raced an SI. Does anyone think a 3.0 would beat one? I think so....

If you have a manual and a decent amount of mods you should be able to beat one. If the SI has a ton of mods it will be a good race. If the SI is Supercharged or Turbocharged I would count on losing.

Caliguy, are you saying that you beat one stock? or with mod's, if so what did you have when you beat it? I just think i can beat one, but i don't know anyone with an SI...gotta wait till the racing season...

im pretty sure that all it had was a muffler. i had p%p upper and lower manifolds, underdrive pulley, cold air intake, and an msd coil, along with about 100 lbs of weight reduction.

hey caliguy, i was wondering where you got your port and polishing done, and how much did it cost for both?

in front of my house and in my garage :) cost me 50 dollars in supplies and a lot of labor.

it was a bitch to get the lower manifold out. then my hands felt funny for 4 days after all of the work with the drill.
