3.8 distributor question.
Can anyone take a look at their 3.8 distributor and tell me the correct location for the #1 plug wire? new to ford's way of life and just rebuilt a 94 3.8 and having TONS of trouble with getting the ignition timing back in line. I grew up around GM's and usually, it's pretty hard to not get the timing right on them. I noticed the stator vanes and that one is smaller than the rest. I assume that this has to be in a particular place? I had never marked the distributor when I removed it as I put it into a new engine as well as had ot replace a timing cover, so.. marks might not have done me much good. I posted a question about this in another section, but it seems this one gets read an aweful lot more..
