A friend recently gave me one of his many muscle cars as a gift. I really dont need it with a brand new Cavalier so id figure id sell it and make a few extra bucks, problem is i dont know anything about the cars history and its strong points and bad. So is there anyone out there that knows ANYTHING about the V6 83 Mercury Capri, and what its worth? The paint and the engine are in perfect condition and its got a race car paint job on it, orange with a black hood and new tires. Can anyone out there help me with any information?

The Mecury Capri is the American version. Is it right-hand drive?
Can you post a pic?

USA received the MK1 and MK2 capris but called them Mecury Capris rather than ford capris & they were a bit different. Later they re-badged the mustang in te 80's and called that a Mecury Capri as well.
