I have a 2000 Mustang V6 (3.8). Is it worth installing a cold air intake? Also, what's the difference between the ones I see on Ebay and the ones that sell for a few hundred dollars?

to be honest...make your own CAI i have a 93 3.8 tbird and was in no way gonna pay 150 for a K&N kit. but in terms of a CAI for gains? VERY minor...all ull really get on it is a whistel maybe when u slam on gas and exhaust sound a little diff....but with reg exhaust and no engine mods....unless u make it urself , there really is no point.

CAI's on 3.8 mustang V6's honestly don't do a whole hell of a lot, the stock intake was really well designed, especially if you just replace the stock intake silencer.
