emory Registered User Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 2	From Dist. to Cam sensor Hi, I am changing motor's (3.8) from a 1989 cougar that has the Dist. into a 1990 Cougar it has the Synchronizer Ass. (Cam Sensor) I have changed the Harmonic Balancer that was on the (3.8) 1990 and Installed the Sensor. Now I need to Take out the Dist and Install the Synchronizer. How do I know where to Put the shaft after I get the number (1) Piston up on the compression stroke? Do I need to do anything else In order for this engine to work? Please someone help me install this Synch ass. as to where to drop it onto the cam? Thank you kk4rb@mchsi.com
