every now and then when I'm cruising I barely touch the gas and the engine
1) drops rpm's
2) feels like your going uphill. need to press gas more.
3) starts to make the car jump as if Its wheel hop but it cant be since I'm doing 40 or more MPH.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

my dad told me to also check out the fuel filter.

it has around 40 to 50k miles on it.
