Hello I got a Escort 1.6 kent engine with the standard motorcraft carby. If i put the Weber carby from another escort will that fit or do i need to change the mainfold. would changing it be any good performance wise. The old carby is stuffed idle part is rooted. tnx guys. btw i looked in the gregoerys manuel found the weber carby but doesnt say if it will fit

go to a ford wrecker and get the manifold and webber together bought one for my brothers cortina in syndey about a year ago for $150,made a huge difference

I had a 2 bbl Webber and manifold to suit Escort sitting in my shed for 5 years. No one wanted it. I'f you are interested I can if I still have it.

These things help, I know two ppl that changed to the 2bbl and felt the difference. As long as it has a good exhaust system too!!

I have a factory 1.6 GT motor with manifold and 2brl webber and ram-flo air cleaner. It's all yours for $150.00 (motor included). I've replaced the running gear with mazda stuff so no use to me N E mo'.I'll throw in the Auto too if u want it.

what cond is the motor in. which area u in. would be hard to get the whole motor. does it blow smoke.

oh do u also have a escort diff ? hope u live in melb a deal could be done hard part is transporting it. can ya buy like a thing that can hold the motor so it can be moved around ?

150 bucks that include the auto box. dont really need the auto but its all good, deal can be done red i if u want we can talk about it.
