SC Fatz

Hi folks...I'm new to your forums and I hope I can get some info.

The problem is sometimes I get fuel pumped and sometimes I dont.
Its not that it delivered poorly...Its all go,or all no.
I'm satisfied that the filter is fine.I also replaced the injecter.After I replaced the injecter,the car started and I was sure I had it the problem solved,but alas...two miles down the raod I was pushing it into another parking lot.
Then It started...then cut off...ect...

Also...the intank fuel pump was replaced about three years ago...and the car has not had "big" milage put on it since.

My questions are:
Do fuel pumps go out this way...in my experience the just fail.Have any of you had one fail this way?

I'm also wondering if maybe the pump is getting a signal from some sensor somewhere telling it to shut down for some reason....maybe?

Someone at work mentioned a relay problem,but I'm not sure where to start there...

Thanks for any suggestions...At the moment I'm still broke down at the local grocery.

some things to check--
Inertia switch
Fuel pump
Fuel pump relay
Fuel pressure regulator

but given your description, I would be most inclined to think it is a wiring problem--loose connection or a wire that is almost broken off.
