Merc. Runs poor 3.0 DOHC
The car is a 2000 and the problems are as follows. The car after being turned over and running drops in rpms drastically from about 800 to between 400-500, causing the car to shake very hard. The drop in rpm's is almost instant during this change. Also when I hit the gas the car backfires (not badly but it is audible). The car runs a lot better at operating temperature but not as good as it did prior to these problems. Any tips would be helpful.
