yes its hard but well worth it just make sure that you check the distributor where the oil pump shaft goes in, mine was stripped but did not noticed until i blew up my engine. but before that i managed to pull an awesome 1/4 mile at 95 mph or so, be like me and port and polish the intake manifold both upper and lower, also port and polish the heads and the exhaust manifolds, its hard but well worth it ok. good luck
