Are the 2.5L v6's in the 1992-1994 Ford Telstar any good? What can i expect after 190,000k's? Are they easily modifyed?

They are a reasonable performer, but funnily enough, they seem a bit peakier than the 2.0L 4 cylinder (well at least in the 92-94 models anyway). How do I know? Drove both, bought the 2L for substantially less :) Oh, and it's for sale :)

Had a girl friend with a 626 V6, had some rather pricey repair costs, so be careful on that front.

I've got absolutely no idea about mod potential on them, don't know if it's really been done at all!

Should last till over 300000 you will have replace the timing belt and the valve cover gaskets.. and the usual leads and alike .. But they do have an alkalis heal of a distributor .. if it hasn’t gone on you yet .. it will…
mods .. Humm super or turbo charge a KLO3,, the most grunt for the money.. if your o3 is running good don’t just replace it with a KLZE as the ZE is good .. but not 2000 odd dollars better.. but that money into a supercharger piggy bank..
